Natural Vegetable Laxative

Actions:   Senna provides a colon-specific action which is gentle, effective, and predictable, generally producing bowel movement in 6 to 12 hours. Senokot-S tablets also contain a stool softener for smoother, easier evacuation.

Indications:   For the relief of occasional constipation. Senokot products generally produce bowel movement in 6 to 12 hours.

Dosage and Administration:   Take according to product-package instructions or as directed by a doctor. Take preferably at bedtime. For use of Senokot Laxatives in children under 2 years of age, consult a doctor.

Warnings:   Do not use a laxative product when abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting are present unless directed by a doctor. If you have noticed a sudden change in bowel movements that persists over a period of 2 weeks, consult a doctor before using a laxative. Do not use laxative products for longer than 1 week unless directed by a doctor. Rectal bleeding or failure to have a bowel movement after the use of a laxative may indicate a serious condition. Discontinue use and consult your doctor. As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product. In case of accidental overdose, seek professional assistance or contact a Poison Control Center immediately. Keep out of children's reach.

How Supplied:   Senokot Tablets: Boxes of 20; bottles of 50, 100, and 1000; Unit Strip Packs in boxes of 100 individually sealed tablets. Each Senokot Tablet contains 8.6 mg sennosides.

SenokotXTRA Tablets: Boxes of 12 and 36. Each SenokotXTRA Tablet contains 17.2 mg sennosides.

Senokot-S Tablets: Packages of 10; bottles of 30, 60 and 1000; Unit Strip boxes of 100. Each Senokot-S Tablet contains 8.6 mg sennosides and 50 mg docusate sodium.

Senokot Granules: 2, 6, and 12 oz. plastic containers. Each teaspoon of Senokot Granules contains 15 mg sennosides.

Senokot Syrup: 2 and 8 fl. oz. bottles.

Senokot Children's Syrup: Chocolate-flavored, alcohol-free syrup in 2.5 fl. oz. plastic bottle packaged with measuring cup. Each teaspoon of Senokot Syrup or Senokot Children's Syrup contains 8.8 mg sennosides.
